Stand For The Troops is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Educational Foundation established by the late Col. David H. Hackworth and his wife Eilhys England to insure that America’s frontline troops get the best available personal combat gear and protective equipment, including body armor and helmets. The lack of adequate equipment, particularly helmets, has resulted in a near epidemic of troops suffering from traumatic brain injury (“TBI�) and post traumatic stress disorder (“PTSD�) from their service in Afghanistan and Iraq.
